Avengers Campus is a Marvel Cinematic Universe–themed area located at Disney California Adventure and is centered around an Avengers campus located on the former area previously occupied by A Bug's Land—with Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure using the same show building that previously housed the It's Tough to Be a Bug! attraction—as well as absorbing the nearby Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout! attraction that was previously designated in Hollywood Land. A Bug's Land closed on September 5, 2018 to make way for the new area. Current attractions and entertainment will include Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout!, Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Dance Off!, Heroic Encounters, Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure, Ancient Sanctum, Avengers Headquarters with Avengers Quinjet Experience added as a future attraction opening during "phase 2." Quick Service Restaurants (with mobile order) are Pym Test Kitchen, Pym Tasting Lab, Shawarma Palace and Terran Treats. Retail stores include The Collector's Warehouse, WEB Suppliers and Campus Supply Pod. Meet and Greet heroes and villains including original Avengers like Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and Black Widow...maybe even the God of Mischief, Loki.

The "Campus" in Avengers Campus is actually an anagram that stands for Centralized Assembly Mobilized to Prepare, Unite and Safeguard! As the backstory tells us, this entire complex was actually owned by Tony Stark’s dad, Howard Stark who owned Stark Industries. Iron Man inherited it and used it to build the Avengers Campus! Rumor has it that Iron Man will be making the rounds wearing his brand new armor- the Mark 80.

While your at the Avengers Campus be sure to stop the WEB Open House. This is a great spot to meet Spider-Man and where the Worldwide Engineering Brigade are hard at work developing the latest technologies. WEB HQ is also where you’ll find WEB-SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure! This is the first Disney attraction to feature Spiderman. Fun Fact - WEB SLINGERS is brimming with Easter Eggs. One is a secret map of the Avengers Campus which can be found just before you board your WEB Slinger vehicle!

As Tony Stark’s former intern, Peter Parker has created projects like Spider-Bots and the WEB SLINGER vehicle which gives guests the skills and ability to shoot webs. You can buy special merchandise called Power Bands, designed to enhance and change some of the effects during the WEB SLINGER ride. You’ll find these at WEB Suppliers (on campus) and the Disneyland Resort Backlot Premiere Shop in Hollywood Land! When you’re walking through Avengers Campus be sure to look up! You could witness Spiderman flying through the air above your heads!

Of course, the collector has a few important artifacts that shouldn’t be there and that’s why its up to you, your friends and Rocket to free Guardians on Mission: BREAKOUT!

When you get hungry, guests at Avengers Campus can stop by the Shawarma Palace for tasty treats like the shawarma enjoyed by Avengers after the Battle of New York. Food scientists at PYM Test Kitchen use Ant-Man and The Wasp’s growing and shrinking technology to create super-sized and super-small foods like the Quantum Pretzel, Proton PB&J Punch, the Not So Little Chicken Sandwich and the Choco Smash CANDY Bar. Next door at the Pym Tasting Lab, scientists create exceptional beverages which includes particle-infused cocktail experiments like the Molecular Meltdown.

The Play Disney Parks app brings in-park experiences and family-friendly activities to life with new interactive experiences for Avengers Campus. The more guests explore, the more fun they’ll find by downloading Play Disney Parks through the App Store or Google Play. New digital achievements and Avengers Campus themed trivia will be available.

Get ready to team up with the Avengers and explore a campus created for the next generation of super heroes. Avengers Assemble!
